P90X Review

P90X Review

Welcome to my P90X Review! What is P90X? It’s not a character from some B-rated Sci-Fi movie. The P90X is one of the most extreme solid workout programs that has been giving hope, not hype, to thousands of people.  P90X will not be a phase you go through that will “faze” you; it will become a life changing event that will help you transform your life. Excited? Me too! Lets begin with the first part of my P90X review.

P90X Review - What is the P90X?

The P90X is hard. Make no mistake about that. With a focus on making your body work on different exercises on different days that includes cardio-vascular and strength building exercises, P90X will keep your body from becoming immune to the mundane fitness equations being taught by most traditional trainers, doctors, and weight specialists. Each and every day will become a new and existing challenge as you progress through the various steps of the P90X program.

P90X Review - P90X and Body Training Programs

The P90X will be the exercise training program you will love and hate. I recommend the P90X for all of my clients that are looking for something new, different, and a program that is designed for their personal success.  My clients range in age from the very young (teens) to those who are middle aged or older. The P90X will work for anyone willing to try it out.

The P90X Program does require you to follow a specific diet plan. You do have to commit to a solid 90 day plan of diet and exercise. You will be sore and you will feel tired – at first. But you will receive a solid return: physical fitness and healthy living.

P90X Review - A Lifestyle Approach to Exercise

P90X ReviewMy clients all know they need help in turn back the hands of time. Many of them had one thing in common: they failed the initial P90X fitness test. This initial stage of P90X helps me to determine if my clients are capable of completing the program. For those who fail, I take them into less intense programs such as the P90 or my personal programs.

Several of my clients had the perception once they completed the first 90 days of the P90X they were done for life. I had to bring them back to reality and let them know once they stop the program, the benefits of P90X will disappear. The increased muscle mass, the weight loss, the high energy levels, the healthier body, and the new you will become a thing of the past. P90X must become a new way of thinking, a new way of life you will continue to work on as long as you are able to remain active in your daily life.

P90X Review - The Benefits of P90X

P90X does not require you to purchase costly equipment (other than some dumbbells or resistance bands). You get to exercise in the freedom and privacy of your own home without feeling the eyes of everyone on you. P90X has everything you need right with it from how to do it and specific guides. With thousands of people following this program, you will find a very large support base locally and on the internet to help you stay focused on your program. Finally, the greatest benefit you will get is the knowledge you will succeed if you stay with the program.

P90X Review - The Cons of P90X

My clients come to me because I have access to the materials for the P90X. The cost varies upwards from $120 to $150. You also have to buy it online – not in stores.  Also the time commitment for the P90X is extensive – anywhere from 45 minutes to 90 minutes daily. If you are looking for a program that does not have any dietary restrictions or specific food intake levels, the P90X is not for you.

Lets proceed with the exact program part of my P90X review.

P90X Review - The P90X Program

What helps to make the P90X so successful is the focus it takes on different parts of the body. This P90X review, like others you will read, will not bring out all specific details on what each video offers you. What follows is a brief description of a few videos.

  1. Chest and Back helps you to work on push-ups and declines. It will help build up the back and chest areas.
  2. Plyometrics focuses on cardio and strengthening of the legs. One added benefit is it helps to reduce fat content.
  3. Shoulders and Arms lets you do curls to build the arms, shoulders, and associated muscles.
  4. Yoga X helps you become and remain more flexible.
  5. Legs and Back is an intense lower extremity workout.
  6. Back and Biceps has you add additional curls to your exercise program to focus on the lower back.
  7. Core Synergistics goes from abs to lower back giving you a strong total body core making you stronger in body and mind.

P90X Review – The Expectations

P90X Pic4 P90X ReviewJust like my clients, you will have some set expectations of what you want to accomplish with the P90X. I can’t tell you what your expectations should be, however, I can tell you the best reasons for starting the P90X and for remaining on the P90X.

The P90X is designed for those who are in a good physical condition. You also should not have chronic or serious physical limitations.  For those who fit within this broad scope, your focus should be on becoming leaner, stronger, more flexible, and an increase in your muscular strength. As an added bonus, you will see a decrease in body fat.

What you should not expect from P90X, is a quick, rapid weight loss regimen, to move from an aerobic program to a more cardio based program, or to just “tone their muscles”. P90X is a “tough love exercise program” that is designed for the experienced and physically fit men and women.

Even if you do not meet the initial requirements for the P90X, don’t rule out the future use of this fitness program. By taking a gradual fitness step towards the P90X and improving your body’s physical condition, you are making the choice towards changing your life, your health, and your attitude.  P90X is the choice for healthy living.

What else? Well, I’d say: grab it today at Amazon! Since Amazon’s discount prices change daily, check out the May 19/2012 sale price for P90X right now.

I hope you liked my P90X review, thanks for reading!
