Hi and welcome to my P90X2 review. Whoever said “don’t fix it if it isn’t broke” obviously didn’t hear about the new P90X2. You have heard about the success of the P90X and how it has transformed the lives of thousands of people just like you across the globe? Now, after several years of serious research and development, this new and improved workout program will drive you to a state of near perfection through its cutting edge, dynamic work out program.

Lets begin with part one of my P90X2 Review:

P90X2 Review – The differences between P90X and P90X2

Yeah, I know, you have heard the hype and the jabber about the P90X. You finally went out and tried it, surprised with the efficiency it had on building your body and enhancing your physical fitness. You are wondering the same thing about the P90X2: how can this program make that much of a difference for me and my body?

It’s quite simple. The P90X was designed to create a system of Total Muscle and Body Confusion techniques, a system that will keep your body wondering what type of workout regimen you will put it through today. As you know, this technique brings about fast results and a new you better than any other program – except for the P90X2.

The P90X2 includes several key differences that include an enhanced nutrition standard, additional abs/core focuses, even more powerful athletic function focuses, and P.A.P. or Post-Activation Potentiation.

The enhanced nutrition guidelines have been designed with three specific phases (styles) of nutrition. The P90X2 include vegan and grain free options and over 50 recipes for you to try. You can use the different phases of nutrition to customize your daily food options that will maximize your body’s fuel consumption during each work out program.

These programs are:

  • Plan 1: Fat Shredder 2.0 is crafted on high protein based diets to help strengthen your muscles and eliminate excess fat
  • Plan 2: Energy Booster 2.0 gives a balanced mix of carbs and proteins low in fat to bring out additional energy thereby improving performance

p90x ab workouts review

The strength workouts are great. The ab workout is outstanding, however you will eventually want to add some variation with some of Tony Horton’s other ab workouts (like 1 on 1). For people who are not in good shape, or who have only been doing cardio (which was my case) the workouts can be difficult to get through for a few weeks, and some moves will require modification for some time.
